Albendazole Tablet is typically taken as a single dose of 400 mg for deworming in adults. It is usually administered with food to improve absorption. For certain parasitic infections, a healthcare provider may recommend a longer treatment, such as 1-3 days or more depending on the type of worm.

In the case of a tapeworm or fluke infection, Albendazole may be taken for several days. Always follow the doctor’s advice and complete the full course if prescribed for multiple days. Common side effects include nausea, dizziness, and abdominal pain. Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated during treatment.
